Unhappy P1120 TPS Out Of Range Low

Anyone have the fix for this code? 4.2L F-150. Just asking before I spend a bunch of time, energy and money changing parts.

Cool

HI!... If your TPS is out of range just simple adjust it. Take a volt meter and probe the center wire of the TPS while the key is in the ON/ENGINE OFF position. Then loosen the two screws that hold the TPS to the TB. You don't want to adjust it more than 0.99 volts. If you do you CAN get driveabilty problems and idle surging. Most people set them at 0.98 volts just in case the voltage fluxuates you don't run into problems. Mine was set at 0.83 volts from the factory. It's usually a very small performance mod to do this. Usually good for about 1 tenth of a second reduction in 1/4 mile times. It will give you better throttle responce and smooths out some rough idles sometimes. Hope this helps you out.
