302 Intake selection

I am building a 331 stroker and would like to hear the different types of intakes people have used. Is it hard to use a Mustang intake on a truck?

Get a Ford GT-40 upper/ lower manifold. Look how they are setup on the Gen 1 Lightnings. They are a little pricey, but they flow great, and they can handle loads of hp. Plus you can use a single blade TB. You have to make some modifications. But its not that hard, so I've heard LOL Or you can always just Port & Polish you current upper/ lower intake. the trucks intake is pretty good, just needs to be opened up some. Throw on a dual 60mm BBK TB and your set.

If you're trying to keep the cost down I would go with the Explorer intake over the stock 'Stang. Watch on you cam and intake selection or you'll end up with weak low end, which is a bad thing in a heavy truck.
