Talking BINGO!

You are so in luck... I just piced up my new truck last night. Purchased through the x-plan. My company is a Ford partner, which entitles us to this pricing. In a nutshell...

1. Get a PIN from Ford
2. Price/spec out a vehicle online
3. Request your local dealer finds you a matching vehicle.
4. Buy vehicle mentioned in #3.

The pricing is A-plan + 4%, I think. This still brings you in under invoice. Also, Ford has a $3000 rebate on F-Series until 9/30!

Email me privately if you need more details. (larry@njdarts.com)

Go to:

www.fordpartner.com

Enter the Partner Code that your company gives you, then “USA” for the Country Code. The site will tell you everything you need to know about x-plan, and how to generate your pin. In the Program Overview section there is a link to forddirect.com, which will let you search dealer inventories and get x-plan prices for the vehicles (you must go via the link at fordpartner.com for the x-plan prices to show up). X-plan is very easy to use. I found my truck at forddirect.com then went to the deal. I just gave the dealer my pin and after he checked it, he completed the paperwork. Remember that you also get all rebates on top of the x-plan price. Good luck.

My wife and I just bought a 2002 Super Crew yesterday under the x-plan. It is A-Plan(Ford employee pricing) + 4% + $150. It is under invoice. Then you get whatever rebates there are.

We were told you could not have a truck brought in from another dealer. You had to go to the dealer it was located at to purchase it. Unless you custom order it.

That's interesting.... My dealer had the truck brought over from a dealer at the other end of the state. I was told that they prefer to deal with what's already in inventory, ie don't plan on being able to order a truck.

X-PLAN

I don't understand how X-paln is under invoice. My brother in law works for Mazda which is owned by Ford so he got me a price on the X-plan. I did some research and bought my truck at actual dealers invoice which was $400.00 or so less than X-plan. He couldn't believe I got it at that.

You can use X-Plan twice a year. Savings vary depending on the car. On our Supercrew it was about $3500.

Wasn't there an airplane club you could join to get the x-plan pin number?

I've used the X-Plan

I recently bought a Lightning. I used the X-Plan I got through my job. The sticker on the truck was 32,850. after the X-Plan it went down to 29,270. That's 3,580 off the sticker. I think that's a pretty good deal...to me.
