NEED HELP NOW! My 5.8L Pings at high speeds
I own a '96 F150 with the 5.8L 351. The truck has roughly 44,000 miles and there are no mechanical issues except that I get a some pinging at 80+ miles per hour. The plugs, wires, rotor, and cap are new (all Ford parts). The timing is correct too. I am running on 89 octane fuel. I was warned that if I run higher octane fuel that I may damage the injectors. 
What should I do? Thanks in advance.
