I am very interested in the Volant cold air intake system but have seen two different types.
One has a filter box included and the other one does'nt.
What's the difference in the way each system works?
Besides the obvious $50-60 difference, is the only real difference that the box helps with reduction of the engine heat?

I guess it all boils down to, DO I NEED TO SPEND THE EXTRA $$ FOR THE BOX SYSTEM???

Also I found the best prices so far at (desertrat.com)$265 with box and $195 with out box

Has anyone found them for cheeper? If so leave website.
