UPgrades for 89 with inline 6
ive been looking around for the past few weeks for upgrades that i can out on my 89 F-150. The problem is that anything i find (eg pulleys, headers, throttle body spacers, superchargers) are only made for the V8 engine. i was wondering if anyone could give me some places to look for possible upgrades. im not looking to do too much to it, but i am looking to doing an intake and exhaust and some other easy stuff before i get into more difficult things. if anyone can help, drop me a line at DeathRowe02@hotmail.com thanks! I-6 (4.9L) HP
1- Holley Power Shot air filter.
2- New Champion Truck Plugs, with an MSD Ignition System. (COIL, WIRES, IGNITION BOX)
3- ACCEL or BOSCH Heavy Duty Cap and Rotor.
4- Electric Fan
5- New Fuel Filter
6- Dynomax Super Turbo Exhaust Kit #289-17312
7- Computer Chip
3- 3.31 or 3.55 Rear Gears
I used some of these on my '95 4.9L, 5 Speed, and it seemed to really help.
