Help.... I had my truck repaired recently due to the notorious leaky timing gasket. The engine light came on just before the repair so I thought it would be fixed, but it wasn't.

After having the code diagnosed... P0306 - Misfire on cylider 6 detected. I replaced my plugs last weekend, but it came back on again yesterday. It blinks for about a minute then goes solide... Had it diagnosed again = same code. I was told to replace the wires next.

I have been reading the boards and this sounds like it could be the problem. Has anyone else came across issues related to this? What else could the problem be?

 

It sounds like a bad wire. If this happens soon after you start the engine, just switch the wire with another and see if the misfire moves to another cylinder.
