Question Fuel pump shut off switch

Well the truck won't start.
Cleaned the engine friday and on the way home I blew a fuse on my Jacobs ignition. Took it out of line and the truck started fine. Sat morning I changed the plugs and wires replaced the Jacobs fuse and put it back in line. At first it would not start but then started and I have been running it since without a problem. It then started and I ran all over the place sat. and sunday.
Today I go out and it won't start. Checked all the fuses. Pulled the Jacobs out of line again and removed the super chip. Still won't start. I have no fire but no fuel will cause the ignition to shut off also.
It is a long shot but I was looking for the fuel pump shut off valve and according to my manual it should be under the dash over where the drivers right leg is. I looked everywhere under there and can find no switch.
Anyone have an idea what is going on with the truck? Also anyone know where the switch is??

I thought it was suppose to be on the passenger side. At least for a Navigator. You might want to try there.

On 97 and newer trucks it should be located behind the passenger side kick panel.
I'm pretty sure on 96 and older it's on the driver side, on the firewall.

WLF,

I just looked in my owner's guide for my 2002 and it says it's "located in the paasenger's foor well, by the kick panel".

The reset procedure is:

Turn ignition off
Push in on reset button
Turn ignition on, pause for a few seconds, turn off.

Just thinking this might be a good place for a secondary security system. Put a remote power switch in the circuit.

Pete
