Arrow increasing h.p

hey guys,

My Dad and I were talking about the issue of increasing his h.p out of his truck. 2002 Ford F-250., with the 5.4 engine. He doesn;t want to do anything extreme, because he doesn't want to lose his low end and he's not the wild type either He's thinking of a K&N filter kit and do a catback a exhaust. He believes strongly there is stuff you can do to the engine's timing, Ignition, and intake and exhaust without ripping and tearing into the engine a whole lot. All suggestions on what to do and what brands are more than welcome. Thanks guys, I appreciate it

The quickest and easiest way to add some horsepower to that truck would be via Superchip -- particularly since the new microtuner is now available. You would be able to add horsepower and firm up those auto tranny shifts in just a few minutes without even turning a wrench. Pulling the Superchip program before a visit to the dealer for service would be simple also.

Chip, Airforce 1 intake, then catback exhaust - magnaflow (stainless system, so it should be the last one you'll ever need).

K&N FIPK ,computer chip, and a good catback exhaust will free up a decent amout of power. Personally, id put the FIPK, headers, true duals, and a chip.

Exactly what Green_98 & Peddler1000 said. Superchip, filter, and catback exhaust (magnaflow true duals)

you will lose low end when you free up too much. If you run straight pipes with no muffler, low end will go down. With the right mufflers it will increase with true duals.
