Throttle Postion sensor, mass air sensor??

Question Throttle Postion sensor, mass air sensor??

Can some on explain a little bit about what these do. I have an idea, but I dont have firm grasp on them.

TPS does exactly that. It sends a resistance signal to the computer telling it where the throttle is positioned at the given time. Changing throttle position changes the signal so the computer knows where the gas pedal is.

MAF once again is simply measuring the amount of flow in the intake tube at that point. Different flows sends a different signal to the computer.
