Whoa there 83_F-150_302.

You can tell that just by somebody posting a check engine light symptom? Not saying you're wrong, but it can be a multitude of things. Without getting the computer scanned and pulling up the trouble code, you will just be making a blind guess and possibly hanging a lot of parts that don't need replacing. You can have the computer scanned at Autozone and this will help you to narrow it down. You may have to take it into the shop if it becomes complicated, but I would try Autozone first.

First things first....

Check your fuel cap. If it's not on right the CEL will come on. That's the 1st and most simple thing to check. Then go to scanning for codes..etc....

Good Luck

Try the website below. They sell high quality synthetic blinker fuild. I found it lasts much longer and makes my blinkers brighter

I still believe that it isn't necessary to use synthetic blinker fluid. As long as you practice good maintenance and use the proper viscosity, your blinkers will last forever with good old dino blinker fluid.

KYFordFreak,
Great site. I really do think synthetics are best. Problem is I lost count at about 110,000 blinks. Do you think I should change the fluid anyway??
I could have saved some money with the plug and wire cleaner.

110,000 blinks, and you haven't run the tank dry yet? what the he!!....you sure you didn't fill the windshield washer tank? The blinker fluid tank only holds 1.67589 fluid ounces. there is no way you can get 110,000 blinks....see where I'm going here people? I think WLF is fibbing......now I'm saying he's a liar but........

My truck just seems to get more blinks for the ounce then the average F-150. Gets better gas milage too. Last time I checked it was about 65 mpg... Others have reported like 13??

Blinks per mile, who cares.

Just be sure to change the muffler bearings before you go on a trip

Do you need a left-handed monkey wrench to change the muffler bearings?

Ya'll aren't getting it are you

What we all need is performance!!! The Motor Block Oil Bypass Kit and the Air Filter Bypass Kit sound very promising

"Many people replace air filters with high-flow versions for an extra few horsepower. We here at KaleCo have devised a much more efficient and more intelligent way of doing things. Pick up our air filter bypass kit and enjoy a nearly a free 15 horse power! Bypass that power-robbing and pesky air filter today, for much less than one of those "performance" air filters!"
