Post Voided Warranty - Your Experience

In several threads, any discussion of aftermarket mods always come around to whether it will void your factory warranty.

I'm wondering if anyone has actually experienced this? Stories about your Uncle Herman, your sister-in-law's second cousin's husband and anything you read or heard about don't count. First hand experience only.

In 25 years of owning new cars, I've only had one major repair done on a vehicle under warranty. The dealer never said one word about whether I had properly maintained the vehicle.

sckielty,

My Dealer will not repair my rear differential under warranty. The reason given is the mods done to my truck. They replaced it twice and on the second time I was told that it was the last time.

Regards
