Header Coatings?
I was looking at possibly purchasing a set of JBA headers for my 4.6L V8. I was wondering what the benefits of the ceramic coating were and what will happen if I don't get it? Is it just a matter of appearance or does it change the performance or life of the headers? Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

The ceramic coating puts more heat out the pipe and less under the hood. The Stainless Steel header can turn brown, the silver ceramic is rated at 1300 degrees, the black ceramic is rated at 2000 degrees (great for towing and supercharging).
