Yeah I've thought of that since I do live in the country the is a possibility that I could suck a plastic bag or bird up the snorkel. So every two weeks I'm going to check the snorkel and piping and my filter for such a thing...

I got the JL Ram Air Kit. And here are my results. The Bracket JL sent wasn't long enough to fit. So I made my own bracket. A 1 hour job turned into a 3 hour job. My tire rubs the pipe on hard fast left turns.

As for seat of the pants results. I miss the sound of my airaid. I could notice much faster acceleration in the higher rpm range. This kit is definitly made for a person that goes to the drag strip a lot. As far as someone asking me if I would do it over again. Well we'll see about that has time goes on.

Question

Does "Ramair" affect the MAF sensor at all . I was wondering if turbulence could throw off the readings from a smooth homogonous flow.

w/t: it's not true 'ramair'. it's a little bit cooler air.
