How much oil in straight 6?
I have a '92 f-150 with the 4.9L I6. 5 quarts of oil fills it to the full line. However, years ago i was told that there was a TSB that said the dipstick is wrong and it should take 6 quarts of oil. I was looking around a website with TSB's the other day and i didn't see this one listed. How much oil does my truck take?

Mine takes exactly 6 quarts. It looks like 5 quarts does it, but once you turn your motor on it fills up the oil filter and that takes 1 quart so 6 will do it. Later.
