The part number is XL3Z-14A099-FA

I got it from genuine-ford-parts.com for 20.11. They threw in shipping for free because I told them my dealer would not get it for me as a misbuild.

You can call 1-800-259-3560 and talk to Sam in parts. He handles all the internet sales.

Good luck.

Exclamation

It's a half-round plastic shield that covers a terminal block. Behind and to the right of the battery, on the firewall. Yes, I believe Ford just started to not include them all of the sudden. My build date was 5/00 and I didn't get one. The parts guy could not find it and the illustration that he printed up did't show it.

Once I got the part# it was no problem ordering it which I did today.

Unhappy

Sorry guys...I still don't know what you'r talking about. What does the "terminal block" look like, and what purpose does the shield serve? I may need one ya know.
Thanks again.

Do you see the difference between the top picture and the bottom picture. Look to the right of the battery, there is a black cover.

Thanks man!!! That looks much nicer...gotta have one. I like where you stuck the big K&N sticker...I tried to stick mine there, but it wouldn't stick to the hood liner. Did you remove yours or was it like this? Any reason to remove it other than appearence purposes?

Well, I got my TB cover but can't seem to figure out how to mount it. Am I missing more parts?
