what if...
u have a 4.6L v8 with flowmaster 40s SI/DO and k&n generation II intake and u want to make ur truck FAST!..u only have $1000 right now...what do u do next?

If I had a thousand dollars to dump into my truck I would go for electric fans, MAF and throttle body. There are a few mods that can be got for a few hundred. If you got a grand, get a few!
I've already spent too much and I'm still trying for FAST!

Define fast, fast off the line or fast on the top end.
Best bang for the buck would be
Superchip flipchips
Gears($500 installed or less if only a 2wd)
electric fans ( Flex-a-lite #270, about $400)
Nitrous (will make almost anything faster but at a cost)
MAF's and TB's ( IMO, not needed until really modded)
If you really want to add some power, try to find a USED blower. You may have to add a few more greenbacks for that one.

thanx guys, i'm probably gonna go electric fans and gears for now. i got injured, so i didnt work much this summer, so i gotta save up somemore money next summer.
i made about $925 in about 3 wks. so next summer, if i get a good 14-16wks, i'll be set...
wittom -- "define fast.." i'm not trying to make mine corvette z06 fast, just fast enough for me to enjoy riding around... probably around mustang gt speed... i dunno.. i've already spent about $485 on flows and k&n and haven't really noticed that much, maybe 15hp..
KYFordFreak -- i may have just enough for a pair of e.fans and 4.10 gears. i have more, but my 'summer earnings' are, i guess, kinda of my "Truck Mod Account"..
anyways, thanx for the reponses... if u guys think of anything else for me this year or for next year, keep em coming!
