Just picked up my 1st truck and it is great. 1997 F150, Supercab, 4x4, 5.4L
This truck has 46000 miles and it is clean as hell. Not looking forward to the decreased gas mileage but I'm sure as hell glad I got rid of the Civic. Check it out !

You might miss that Civic at times. Like when your at the gas pump (standing there for at least five minuets) filling the tank on that truck. That will probably be the only time though. It's a great looking truck. You might pick up a few pointers on how to improve your mileage here. Seems to be a common concern. I would suggest not trying the moth ball method. (There is a thread from a short time ago that went over this. Something like "better gas mileage" or something like that. If you'd like to be amused, you might want to check it out.)

I read that moth ball thing about a week ago and I would never even try it on my lawn mower! Hopefully the gas mileage thing wont be to painful.

thats not a standard colour on your truck and I'm pissed cause it looks great!!! Thats the colour I would by in an instant But we are stuck with drab, dark colours or white and gold and silver. I've been looking at a green over gold lariat but the colour does not grab me. any one know what new for 2002?
