Post Question about "PI" heads.

I was considering swapping my heads for a pair of 5.4 "PI" heads. I have been collecting info. on the swap from this forum but recently saw a post saying you can not swap PI heads for non-PI heads because the ports are shaped differently. Does anyone know anything about this (I'm glad I didn't by the heads yet)?

Future plans:
4.6 to 5.4PI head swap
Dynomax headers
supercharger (haven't decided which one, yet)

I would think if the exhaust ports are the only difference, a set of headers or manifolds that match would solve the problem.

It's the intake ports that are different I believe.

Search in the last few days. There is a post with Ford service verbiage about the different heads and which ones do not interchange.
