95 F150 Oil Pan Remove

Question 95 F150 Oil Pan Remove

Does anyone know the best way to remove the oil pan on a 95 F150?

According to my repair manual, you have to remove the upper intake manifold. Then jack the engine up in the mounts to get enough clearance to remove the pan.

Looking at my truck, it doesn't look like the intake would cause any clearance problems. I also have a '95 and have a small but irritating seep from the pan gasket.

You might want to disconnect the exhaust before the cat as well. I have seen exhaust mainfolds crack while jacking up the engine.
