for all those who think RJ started - he did not start this topic - hmm. So he had a ford with a rough idle - i guess no one else complained about that either - door cracks never seen a post about that either - o and hey guess what i just heard ford has a head gasket problems too - shhh (do you guys all work for ford or do you just feel since you own a ford it cant be bad? ) I personally like my truck but I think i've had way to many problems than what i should ever had, and now to find out it isnt worth anything when i want to trade off on another ford i am just wondering who has better resale.

The Biggest Toyota model can hardly be classified as a full size truck. Also my wife loves her Focus. It has not had any problems in the 15000 miles she has had it. The Focus has been around for a while in Europe before it was released in the US. Yes all Brands occasionally make a bad one that slips by Quality Control for whatever reason. Maybe the inspector had to pee who knows. Ford is guilty but so is every other manufacturer including the foreign ones. It does not matter where it is made. Human error does not have borders. My .02 and look no personal atttacks. Maybe more people could practice that.

RJ are you familiar with the old saying "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say it"?? You might consider applying that from time to time. You've stated why your upset with Ford, and you have every right to be. Believe me I know how crappy Ford can be to deal with, I've very recently been there and done that.
But I've read many of your posts here, and all you do is bash Ford in every one of them, even threads that don't pertain to the problems that you're having. To me and many of the others around here it appears that you've gone way beyond complaining about your trucks problems and are now pursuing a personal vendetta against Ford.

Warrenty Work? The only thing that Ford controls paying is warrenty work, which dealers want to do warrenty work cause they get paid for it (it doesnt come out of their pocket). Ford doesn't control how much over invoice they charge for a vehicle (the market does that). Ford does control what they charge for purchasing one from Ford, but it's a product, of course they control that! So please explain what the heck you are trying to say. You're statements are pretty damn vague and misinformed as far as i can tell.

Your g/f herself said she hates Fords, doesn't have a Ford, doesn't know about trucks & yet she's been attacking us for our comments to RJ! We were talking TO HIM - we didn't start attacking her. If anyone is thin skinned it would be her & RJ. I have been attacked here many times when I asked people to stop the name calling or use of inappropriate language. I can take whatever insults are thrown at me because I just consider the source. I also never retaliate w/vulgar or crude language. I think I have proven that I behave as a lady as do MOST of the women here. If that upsets your g/f then tough. I am not going to change my way of responding to people who attack me & I will not back down.

The last time I checked this message board was to communicate with others that own/love/like/whatever their F150's. Yes, if you have a problem with your truck then tell us what is wrong and there will be someone that can help. If all you want to do is put down the very thing that brought you and others to this board then go and talk to Ford Customer Service. That is what they are there for, not us. I have owned two F150's, a '87 and a '94. The '87 is still on the road, I sold it with 305,000 kms (190,320 miles) on the 300 I-6. I plan on doing the same with the '94 unless playing cop watcher for Neal "The HP Freak" catches up to the truck. There is always bad vehicles that come off of the lines and it doesn't matter who the company is. And yes, that includes Toyota. NO one is perfect, that is why message boards have gotten so popular. It is a bunch of fellow lovers of that particular vehicle getting together to share ideas and help others with their problems. So please keep the complaining to a minimum and the only one that has power to stop someone from posting on this site is STEVE "THE WEBMASTER" !!!!
