I am thinking of buying out my lease on my truck. Would I be eligible for an exteded warranty and what would it cover? I know this probabky isnt the right place to post this topic... but I figured it would get the best exposure here. I have 42,000 miles on my truck and so far so good. <<Knock on wood>> The only minor annoyance I have is the "doink" from a standing start.

You can buy the Ford ESP (extended service plan) from any Ford dealer. This will be the same as the bumper to bumper warranty that came with the truck. You will have check with the dealer because the 3/36 that came with it is up now.

Not sure if you can get one if the warranty ran out and there is no other protection on it. You usually need to have the ESP in place before your 3/36 is up.
