Exclamation HELP ME,, i need to convince parents to get F150

ALRIGHT,, Right now I have a GMC YUKON im sorry. But I want an F150. I havent told my parents that I want to sell my car to get it but I know im going to need a good arguement to buy this truck, they will ask whats wrong with the car I have now and alot of questions parents ask. This truck I want has a 9inch custom suspension lift on 40inch tires. I have driven it and looked it over carefully. Its pratically new, low miles, interior is nice as anything. What are some good reason to buy this truck, good reasons to sell what I have, and what I should do to help pay for it and things like that. PLEASE HELP!

Basically, sit down with your parents and talk about it. If you want the truck bad enough, offer to pay the insurance, gasoline, and payment if you will be incurring a payment; and of course any maintenance expenses. But most of all just talk to them, you might be surprised what you can work out. They might open your eye's to some points of interest that you've not thought about, and vice-versa you to them. Hope this helps ...

Sorry to side with your parents. There is no way I'd buy that truck. 9" of lift is way too much and 40" tires are too big for an F150. The remaining suspension components are not made for that kind of abuse. The brakes are too small and the axles cannot take the leverage applied by the big tires. It may run fine now but I guarantee that in no time you'll be replacing parts. It will be an expensive truck to maintain. You also don't know anything about how it was lifted. Is it even safe or legal? I'd find a stock truck and add bigger tires or a lift to it yourself. I'm sure your parents will be more willing to let ya buy one of those than that beast you're looking at. Good luck.
