Question Mobil gas

Hey the United Dairy Farmers (just like a 7-11) around here has started selling Mobil gas. Does anyone know if Mobil gas is any good? It is a little cheaper than the other stations here.

You are lucky. Down here it is among the highest priced gas around, right up there with BP/Amoco. IMO it is very good gasoline, at least as good as the other "premium" brands. I've heard that it has the most detergent of all of the 93 octanes??? Can't verify that but that is what they told my dad when he owned one of their stations....

Ok...I'm not promoting any oil company or the sale of high priced gasoline, but here is my experience.

I've used NOTHING but Mobil gas in my 91' Plymouth Laser. 135K miles later, the engine still runs like new - no sputtering, no hard starting, no loss of power, etc. I've never had the injectors cleaned, and never added injector cleaners. I've also been using Mobil 1 synthetic since 10K miles.

I plan to do the same for my new Screw.

I use a fair amount of Mobil gas, and I would say its ok, nothing more nothing less.
My new screw performs best on the lesser known names like Hess, Super Value and Getty.
My .02 cents.

Thumbs up

Mobil is considered a "premium gasoline" and I have used it extensively when I lived up North. No problems at all.
