I have a 1999 F-150 with a 5.4 in it. I was wondering what this super chip was and what it did.

There is a section here on the boards marked "computer chips. You might want to check out some of the posts there.
I couldn't give you a very good explanation of what the Superchip does, all I can say is I have one in my truck, and it's made a great F150 even better. Be patient someone will be able to give you more detail. In the meantime there is a lot of good reading here on the message boards, if your into that kind of thing.

I will look into it. I have read about all of the cleaning that people do with their trucks. Good thing I ma not the only one. My wife is always wondering if I love my truck more than her..
