Ok, tell me again, if I have the use of the X Plan, how much off of MSRP does that get me?

The x-plan is a joke. You save about $400 off invoice. A tough haggler can do better than this.

Dealer told me X-Plan, (supplier purchase), is worth 2% under dealer cost. Salesman makes a flat $100.00.

Oh boy....thanks Ford ! !

I'm using the X Plan on my new (Due to be in any minute) F150. I'm guessing about $300.00 under dealer invoice. I'll post with the actual savings.

Ask the dealer to show it to you. He has to show you if you are eligible. The A Plan is below invoice. It is about .83 times the MSRP for the F150. It is different for other Ford models. I bought on X plan which is A plan plus 4%.
In addition, I got the low 2.9% financing and $500 rebate when I bought the wifes Explorer. Ask for it!!!!!

I work at a Ford Dealership and we get some Blue Oval package. They says it averages from 1000 to 500 below invoice with a excellant interest rate. Anyone buy a car with that plan?

Thumbs up

On my 99 F150 I got the X-plain thru Con-Way Southern Express, we are the main LTL carrier
for Ford. I got $4200 off MSRP and got extra 75,000 miles warranty for $820 and 4.9% on the loan.

Krazy, I purchased my supercrew on the blue oval plan "D plan" also. You get the best finance rate at that time. It ended up being about 5000.00 under MSRP but no one buys at MSRP. overall it was a good deal.

Straight 4% over dlr cost.

Special APR finance rates apply to whatever price you purchase the truck for.

Could someone please tell me how you qualify for any of these plans? I don't know a thing about them. I did get $4500 off msrp on my truck without any plan. Next year when it's all paid off i'm getting a lightning (still keeping my 4x4). It would be great to find a way to get a plan for the L!

Good luck getting an "L" on any plan. A dealer doesn't have to participate and they generally don't on super hot in demand or low supply vehicles like the "L". One guy did post in the "L" forum that he did get his on the "A" Plan but he works for a Ford factory.

As promised.....

I stated earlier that when I picked up the truck I'd state how I faired using the X-Plan.

Truck MSRP = $27,890.00
Dealer Invoice = $24,866.00
X-Plan Price = $24,466.00
Rebate = $1,000.00
Total = 23,466.00

Also, the X-Plan can be used to get a discount on the ESP.

Now I'm off to buy some toys.....

Cool

Y2K OffRoad, I'd say take them to the cleaners. Take advanage of any and all rebates\plans that you can. Plus my dealer says that theres a $1,000.00 rebate, if you take delevery before June 1. Also, with the X-Plan you are still entitled to all the same discounts, and thats part of the plan.

Good Luck
