Cool A question for SUNDAYNIAGARA69

JUST PUT IN A NEW SET OF PLUGS TODAY AND WAS WONDERING HOW THINGS WORKED OUT FOR YOU. I FOUND THREE MISS FIRING AND SO THIS TIME PUT NON-CONDUCTING GREESE ON BOTH THE PLUG (CERAMIC AREA) AND INSIDE THE BOOT. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. REALLY IS PURRING. IT WASN'T MISSFIRING BEFORE THAT I KNEW OF BUT THE PLUGS SHOWED A DIFFERENT PICTURE. AM NOW RUNNING A .065 GAP ON THE PLUGS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. AM THINKING ABOUT GOING TO .070 WHICH IS THE MAX RECOMENDED BY JACOBS.

------------------
Black 1997 F-150 Supercab Flairside. 4.6L with Superchip, Jacobs DIS, K&N Generation II, Cat back Exhaust with Flowmaster 40 and MEG'S Stainless tip in front of rear wheel (nice rumble). 17" Off Road wheel pkg. Lots of body mods. 5 yrs old and still turns heads...and now paid for!! New is NITTO NT404 275/65/17's and Hellwig 1/7/16 front and 1 1/8 rear bar.

I'll bring this back to the top so ou will see it. There have been a lot of posts lately. BTW the Jacobs site now has information on using platnum plugs.
