Oddly enough mine does it to. 98 f150. It's not really loud, but you can hear it everytime you turn, sounds like a small scraping noise or something.

Anyone?

Do you guys have oversized tires? It could be the tires rubing on the radius arms.

MY 99 does the same thing. I have noticed a bit of fluid dripping ever so slowly from the steering box, I plan to take it to the dealer for warranty work. I have checked the fluid and it is within the acceptable range on the resevoir.

I've got stock wheels and tires on the truck. Will definately check the power fluids. I've not noticed any drippings in my garage or driveway? ::Shurg::

Mine used to make a fair bit of noise as well, but i replaced my ps fluid with mobil 1 synth ATF, and it has been quiet for about 8 mos now. Ford generally has pretty loud ps systems, that's why you can hear an old LTD or Aerostar van coming a mile away.
