This morning on the way to work my engine cut out for a split second, and jerked violently. I stopped on the side of the road to check things out and without me being anywere near the throttle the engine reved up on its own, and I noticed the theft light blinking. I am almost positive that my chip is not making a good connection, but I would like a few other ideas as to what the problem may be. Thanks.

 

I'd pull the chip and see if everything works. Make sure everthing is off first. Go to thread on conformal material in computer chip section and see what mike had to say about my question about everything working and then problems arise for vehicles with chips. Good luck.
