Post Possible for self-made tubing for intake?

Is it possible to take plastic tubing and make your own FIPK? My cousin talked about it, he did one for his Dakota with thw 3.9l v6. Would this work at all?

Thanks

Fast54Triton,

Check out the thread below -- it shows a picture of the one Neal did. Based on his performance numbers, I have to imagine that it performs about the same as some of our "off-the-shelf" ones. Hope this helps.

Cool

HI!... GUYS : Thats nothing!LOL! You should see the true RAM AIR set-up that I'm designing right now. I'm going to start building the REAL one in about a month. Right now all I have is the plans and a primitive prototype. This will be a set-up that as far as I know, no one has thought of or built. You must have electric fans though for you to do this. You need the room. I'll let you guys know how it works out and mabet some pics.

When I click on the pictures (to hopefully make them larger) I get an error message about not found. Can I get the pictures larger so I can see exactly what you did?
