2000-1 Speedo correction?
Was looking at 150 speedometer change at http://www.tccoa.com/articles/interior/index.html#
Don't want to swap out entire speedo, and can't use 97 and 98 gear change on 00 and 01 (need computer correction). Does anyone know if would be possible to buy a matching speedo guage decal that would compensate for larger tires?.
The speedo now reads slower, wouldn't the proper scale going to 150 or 160 have a smaller range between MPH reading and act as a compensator, or would variation in percentage only make it right in a limited range?

You have a few options:
As NoMopar says, you can try to find a cooperative dealer (good luck) and get a re-program that matches one of the factory profiles. ie 16" wheels and 3.73's (shortest) to 17" wheels and 3.30's (tallest).
You can get a recalibrator that will correct the speedo but this will not work with an Expedition (because of the AWD system). An example of this would be http://www.autotransinc.com/recal.htm .
Finally, you can get a superchip that will correct the speedo. This worked for me but is only available for some computer versions.
From my research, changing the physical speedo calibration might correct the speedo error but won't do anything for your odometer. Plus, my shop manual indicates that the entire gauge package would have to be removed since the speedo is not a separate instrument.
