Do the f150 lariats only come with 4.6L engines? Mine did and i notice all the lariats that ive seen have the 4.6L...why is that? My dad has and f250 Lightduty and it has a 5.4L. Whats the reason?

1998 150 SC, Lariat, 5.4, Black with a little silver, 4X4, Stock at this time.

 

I own a 99' F-150 super cab lariat and it has the 5.4L in it.
I also just made it to the 25000 mile mark and had to get a new engine put in. Thank god for my waranty. They said that it had a blown head gasket. Any one else have this trouble?

 

I have a '98 Lariat 4.6,right side head gasket replaced last week;13700 miles.

 

When the new truck was introduced in '96 as an early '97, the 5.4L was not available yet.
