I don't know if I just got a "good one" or what, but my 99 Sport, 4.6, 2wd, with a Flowmaster cat-back, and K&N has never been beaten by anything but a Lightning, which I didn't even waste the gas on. I've been all over Rams like Jimmy Spencer at Bristol. Navigators, Eddie Bauer Expeditions, fuggettaboutit. Ford Motor Company Baby!

 

Youve got to have the lightest config they make too. Expies and Navies outweigh you by a few thousand lbs. The 4.6L.. shes a sweeet engine.

 

I personaly like the 4.6, I have a 97 in the F150 and a 2001 in the expedition, the expedition has more power.. and the idle is very smooth...

1997 XLT Teal 4.6L Flareside 4x4 ORP. Automatic, Reg. cab, 3.55LS, tinted windows, bug deflector, Dual exhaust, K&N Generation 2 air filter, BullDog keyless entry/remote start, Modern 16" wheels, bedliner, Covercraft tonneau cover, White faced gauges, electronic shift on the fly, Clarion ADX5655z Double Din Cassette & CD, 4 Pioneer TS-A6865 speakers and superchip. Going to add headers.


Future mods: Supercharger, headers, NOS, tranny upgrade(heavy duty gears, clutch packs, etc.), performance torque converter, bore engine 30 over, new pistons, crank, and rods, performance heads, new L if they still make them and I like the way it looks, and a Z06 Vette or BMW Z3.
