Okay, I am going to sound really really stupid, but I want to know, how do I know which chip will fit by the engine code? Is it in the VIN or what? Don't laugh too hard.

Thats not a stupid question at all. When I called Mike to order my Superchip, he asked me for my computer code, and I gave him the deer in the headlight look over the phone. The code is located on the passenger side door. When you open the door you will see a white sticker with three letters and a number , that is your computer code. Hope that helps.

If for some reason you can read the sticker inside the passenger door jam or it's missing, it's also on the computer itself. The computer is much harder to read it on though. It's up above where the passengers feet go, sticking through the firewall. You might see the back side of the aluminum bax about 1.5 inches thick, 6-7 inches wide. It mounts vertical, so it's 6-7 inches high.
