Fuel Mileage

I installed a K&N air filter yesterday and I also started running Mobile 1 oil and filter in my 99 4x4 ORP. I was just wondering if this could possibly help my fuel economy?

it really depends on your truck and how it was runing before, it might add a .5 or so, if you really want to get good gas milage, keep it under 2800 rpms, it should a little and keep it up.

2800 rpms. Hope that's just a typo. Is that what it takes for a V6 to cruise at?

I'm at 1900 in OD and going 70. (5.4, 3.55, 31" tires)

I know I get much better mileage if I keep it at 60 (~1600 rpms)..... But, who can be satisfied at that speed..... I usually compromise at 65.
