Cool Rough idle solved

I know that this has been a hot topic around here so I’m going to tell everyone the secret to my success. Change your fuel filters. That’s all it took on my 99. I’m normally very strict about maintenance on my truck but I have not changed my fuel filter since about 40,000 miles ago, and let me tell you it really needed it. I’m sure this wont solve everyone’s problems but Ill bet you it will help a lot of you. Good luck

I changed mine around 42,000 miles on it or about 11,000 miles ago I was starting to get a little bit of a rough idle before I replaced it but didn't think much of it until I read your post.
