Post Looking for Help.

I found a site that is selling the new 5.4 Lightning motors. I know you need a new wirng harness and computor to put it in a truck with a 4.6. Does anyone know if it is worth alittle extra work to put in a new motor with more HP, or just go with a magnacharger on a 100,000 mile engine. Well any help and advice would be nice. Thanks Joe D.

I think a lightning engine has to much torque for your stock transmision. The lightnings use internal comonents from a super duty deisel transmision to handle the 450 lbs of tourque.

Talk to crash he is the superchager expert.
