Question Stock hp on 1998 5.4L Triton - F150?

i just bought my truck used and i'm not sure what the hp is on a stock 5.4l triton.

Your horsepower is 235. torque 330. In 1999, these figures jumped to 260 hp and 350 ft torque.

And soon after delivery many jump to 288 HP and 400 lbs and beyond.....it's ironic how that seems to happen after UPS starts stoping by your house. Packages from Mike at Perf. Prod, the online store, SummitRacing.com truckperformance.com etc. etc.

1998 245hp
1999-2000 260hp and 345ft/lbs
2001 260 and 350ft/lbs

i have never heard of a 245 h.p. 5.4. we did you get those figures? i thought it was 235 and 260

HI!... Well here in CANADA the "97" and "98" 5.4 F-150's were 235H.P and the "99" and up 5.4 F-150's were 260H.P. There was never a 245H.P version of the 5.4 in a F-150. My dealer, shop manual, and 4 mechanics agree.

It was 235 and then 260.

Man I feel bad for the cheapo's that bought a 4.6 LOL
