Speed Limiter
Does anyone know how to disable the speed limiter without getting a chip?

Can't be done in these late-model vehicles, the only way to do that is to alter the ECU's programming.

Mike,
Someone told me they brought their truck into a shop and the guy disabled the speed limiter in 5 minutes and charged them $5. I thought it was too good to be true.

Change the speedo gear to one with less teeth. It will slow down the MPH reading. Just make sure you adjust your readings of the speedometer accordingly. It might also screw up your mph based shift points. You wanted a cheap solution....
