Over Head Cam Or Pushrod

Is the 4.6 liter ford truck engine pushrod or over head cam????????????

Does the 5.4 liter engine have a single coil or does each spark plug have its own coil???????.......

4.6L SOHC & 5.4L SOHC Triton Engines are both Single Overhead Cam designs (that is one single overhead cam for each bank of cylinders for a total of two.

The 5.4L has a coil pak for each plug

HI!... The 5.4's have always had a "COP" set-up. That's a coil on plug design. The 4.6's up till "2000" I believe had spark plug wires. The newer 4.6's now have a "COP" set-up.

one cam for each bank, so atotal of 2 cams. so that means engines like the 4.6 DOHC cobra have 2 cams PER BANK for a total of 4 cams? just curious...
