i own a 2000 4x4 lariat with the trailer towing group, class III. heard about this problem two days ago so i checked mine and sure enough there was the 1.2 inch rad.so called the dealer and talked to the service manager and he said he hasnt heard about the problem but he would do some checking in on it. called me today and said he talked to ford engineering and they told him they were aware of the problem but didnt know what they were going to do about it yet. any way he discovered that my truck did call for the 2.2 inch rad. so he was able to order me one with no problems at all and no cost to me.i am in SHOCK. i figured it would be some long battle with my dealer and ford about the problem from hearing about some other peoples problems on this site. got lucky i guess. any way for yall who are still battling good luck. it can be done.....
