Exclamation Coolant replacement in progreess..........

It has been 45k and I decided to go ahead and change the coolant. I drained all the nasty stuff into a container, and now I wanna flush it. The problem is...where to add the water/flush/new radiator fluid. I have a 97 4.6 and I am half way through the job. For some reason I cannot seem to find the radiator cap. I know where the resverve is, but it does not seem to want to flow into the radiator. I would turn the truck on and doit, but I am afraid oh over heating the engine. Please post ASAP....

Regards,
Ron

I tried that too, and it seems to go in so slow that I thought surely not. Have you done this before?

Dont forget to turn your heater all the way to hot so the new antifreeze will run through your heater core as you fill it up.

Thumbs up

I did the flush like 10k miles ago and everything is working fine. I did follow the Haynes manual instructions for this task and it help me a lot.
