Does anyone happen to know what the common cause is for the engine check light to come on other than for normal, obvious reasons. This is the second time I have had this happen. I bought the truck used with 75,000 miles on it and the light came on the first time shortly after that. I now have 86,000 miles. The first time nothing could be found wrong, (I did not have the computer checked though) I disconnected the battery for about ten minutes to reset the computer.
Second, does anyone know how or where to wire in a tach? Thanks for the help.
