spark plugs and wires

Question spark plugs and wires

I have a 97 F-150 with a 4.6L V-8.I am getting my truck tuned up and i am looking to put new spark plugs and wires in it.i heard that performance sparks and wires will give me more power.if this is true what kind of spark plugs and wires are good?thanks for the help

Use the cheap plugs and change them often. Personally I don't feel any gains from fancy plugs. I returned my Bosch 4's. I have the MSD wires and they're a tight fit. I would probably go with Ford Motorsport 8mm wires if I had to do it again. And they're cheaper.
If you're doing your own plugs invest in a 6" wobbler. It's an extension you can use an a 15 deg. angle or so. It really cuts down on the explosive profanity.
