I have a engine with 280,000 miles on it, it is still very powerful and still runs good. I just want something more I really don't wanna do any mods to this truck with its high milage i am thinking of buying a new engine but i need to know if they are using good parts. I am not a mechanic I am a Student to be a mechanic........Don't know it all yet i wish i did. PLease help the place i wanna buy the engine from is called indy mustang they have a web page i was looking to buy the injected turnkey 302 could you tell me if it has good parts in it thanks.

 

It looks like a decent engine, basically they just took an old engine, blueprinted and rebuilt it and threw some paint at it. They used decent name brand parts, but they aren't high performance. Looks like a good oem replacement engine. If you want to eventually do some high performance mods to the truck you would be better off spending the extra cash now for higher compression pistons, roller cam, etc.
