Ok, so I have been a member of this board for a little over a month now (great place!) and I see all of these postings from members with awesome 1/4 mile times. Problem is, most of these people have a 4x2 setup. Sure, I understand that if speed was what I sought, I should have opted for something much lighter than a 4x4, however, I am a sucker for the stance and the added benefits a 4x4 can bring. However, I still want as much out of my truck possible. So... with that said, I am very interested to hear from the 4x4 community on their best 1/4 times and which mods you have done to accomplish this feat.

Hey Cyclone. I have a Supercrew 4x4 which is as fast as my 2000 Mustang GT of course the charger had a lot to due with that but it is a blast.

geez, my 1/4 times vary greatly...but, it usually depends on how deep the mud is...my truck does seem faster though with a full bed of wood, i think it helps my truck cut through the wind better and stops the dreaded windblock of the tailgate...lol, Rich.

according to max you can't have a fast 4x4 not as fast as a mustang!!!!I guess you showed him!!!!
