Texas has a new emission testing proceedure. Has anyone with a superchip been tested yet? And if so.....does the chip effect the test?

 

Since the Superchip is approved for use in emissions conscious California, where all addons must be approved by CARB, I suspect that you'll have no problems. Mike T indicates that the chip does not cause an increase in oxides of nitrogen, one thing they are looking for.

 

I'm glad TN doesn't have any kind of inspections or test to pass to renew my tags. I wish the best of luck to you on the test.
