Post help.....

I own a 97 F-150 4wd 5.4L Automatic 3.55LS. Two weeks ago the engine started missing and the check engine light came on. Took it to local shop. The error code reader detected a misfire in cyl. 1. They replaced the spark plugs (which had 110,000 miles on them) and that seemed to cure the problem. Got the truck back on sat. Tueday night, the same thing happens, truck starts missing and the check engine light came on. Has anyone experianced this problem before or have any ideas what it may be? I just bought the truck in early Feb. and I am wondering if I should take it back to the dealer I bought it from.

I bought it from an Independent used car dealer. I Have the limited warranty from C.A.R.S. But that only covers internally lubricated parts, so till it gets deeper into the engine it comes out of my pocket.
