to reset or not to reset

Unhappy to reset or not to reset

should i reset my computer after an exaust swap and after i install my airaid intake? if so is it like old school trucks and you just disconect the battery for like 20 seconds?

If you didn't do a battery disconnect for your intake installation, you can do it afterwards to speed up the learning process. Disconnect negative battery terminal, turn on headlights for a minute, TURN HEADLIGHTS OFF, reconnect battery. You'll notice a gauge sweep when you turn on the ignition.

so i did need to do a battery disconnect huh? i appreciate you telling me how to do it. we'll see if it helps!

You're Welcome !! The battery is normally disconnected working with the sensors during the intake install.

reset yes

yup reset it makes the computor re learn what is new set differnt idle and rpms and stuff youll notice a differnce, just after you do the disconnect and connect, let it warm up then drive, not hard at first takes a few good cold starts to notice it but reseting is the thing to do after any mods
