Question Do I need my F150 looked at?

Several times in the last couple of weeks I found myself playing with some Chevy guys. Just some redlight to redlight running mostly. But latley I have noticed that I can't stay with any of their trucks. I'm not sure what engines they have but I'm getting frustrated at looking at their tailgate. Don't get me wrong though, when we stretch it out to a little farther I always catch-up and usually pass them. Is my truck supposed to be that slow off the line? I don't power brake, but neither do they. Any suggestions.

It's called torque...Chevy engines (especially the 5.7 liter, 350 ci) have loads of low-end torque. Unless you have a supercharger, I doubt you will catch them at the line.

Homer,

When was the last time you cleaned your air filter? A quick check of all the AF1 connections would not do any harm.
